Went here for the first time earlier this month. Justin did an amazing job. I was getting compliments every day on my two strand twists. She was neat and very quick! All of the staff were very nice and the shop was very clean! Highly recommend

Amazing experience! Fatima was responsive, scheduling was easy, and she helped me choose the perfect braid length. My braids are lightweight, neat, and were done quickly, and they’ve comfortably lasted longer than any I’ve had before. She was very mindful of my hairline and finer areas, making sure the braids weren’t too tight or painful. I really appreciated that she didn’t use all of the prepped hair to protect the integrity of my natural hair. My scalp was oiled and the braids were dried before I left. The environment was peaceful, I was able to relax and read, and I was even offered complimentary refreshments. I will definitely be back! 😊

I had the best experience at Kalajula’s Beauty! Fatima and her team are so warm and welcoming — the shop has such a great vibe. I got medium waist-length boho braids with human hair added, and they came out gorgeous. What really surprised me was how fast they worked without sacrificing quality. Fatima is super sweet and genuinely cares that every client leaves happy. I’ve struggled to find a braider in Washington, but I’d recommend Kalajula’s over anywhere else in a heartbeat l. It is also definitely worth the drive if you’re not local or want to book a braider who is VERY gentle. I also appreciated Fatima taking the time to help me plan what styles would be comfortable for my hair long-term. I’m already looking forward to coming back for box braids next time!
